Apple Nut Topping

Ingredients


  • 1 Envy apple

  • ~¼ lemon, juiced

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon, to taste

  • ½ cup chopped walnuts and pecans (unsalted)

  • a spoonful of date paste

Instructions


  1. Chopped the apples into small bite size pieces.

  2. Heat pan over medium heat and add apples, cook for a few minutes.

  3. Add in lemon juice and continue to mix.

  4. Add cinnamon, walnuts and pecans and cook until apples are desired crunchiness.

  5. Eat warm or store in the fridge to eat as a snack later!
