My Favorite Restaurants in Corfu
Corfu surprised me with some of the best food I had in all of Greece. From stylish seaside tavernas to chic modern restaurants overlooking the Ionian Sea, the island’s dining scene perfectly blends fresh Mediterranean flavors with a relaxed, elegant vibe. Here are my favorite spots to eat.

Olivia
Olivia was my favorite restaurant in Corfu — the best combination of food and ambiance from our entire trip. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, with a serene view over the water and a refined yet relaxed atmosphere. We had the sea bass here, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and fresh. Everything about the experience felt special, from the presentation to the setting, making Olivia a must-visit when in Corfu.

Monastre
Monastre is a beautifully situated restaurant in Corfu with stunning views and a peaceful, upscale setting. When we booked, there was a minimum spend per person for certain table locations, but the restaurant wasn’t crowded, so you don’t really need to reserve far in advance unless you want a specific spot. We were initially worried about meeting the minimum spend, but it turned out to be quite easy, it’s pretty expensive, but the food, drinks, and atmosphere made it well worth it.

Akron
Akron is a beautiful beachside restaurant with a relaxed, stylish vibe and great food. It’s set right on the water, making it perfect for a long lunch or early dinner by the sea. We were able to walk there easily from our hotel, and the sunset views were especially lovely — the perfect spot to unwind with a drink as the sky turns pink over the water.

Location: Old Town
Reservation Recommended: They don’t take reservations, we waited in line for about 45 minutes for an outside table.
Tsipouradiko
Tsipouradiko felt like a true local gem — casual, authentic, and unbelievably affordable. The food was delicious, with generous portions and a cozy, laid-back vibe. We ended up ordering (and eating) way too much, but everything was so good it was impossible to stop. It’s the perfect spot if you want a real taste of Corfu without the touristy feel.

Location: East side
Reservation Recommended: For lunch you can walk in, but make reservations in advance so you can have beach chairs after eating.
Callao Corfu
Callao is a stylish, refined spot right next to one of Corfu’s quieter beaches. While I wouldn’t drive out just for the beach itself, the restaurant makes it completely worth the trip — the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is relaxed yet elevated. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a long lunch by the sea. If you plan to spend time on the beach, I’d definitely recommend reserving chairs in advance, as spots are limited.
